JART-EPP LEG to End Production
After a great year of partnership, Leading Edge Gliders will end production of JART-EPP sailplanes at the close of 2007. LEG proprietor, Jack Cooper, has done an excellent job of providing EPP kits for people who weren't ready to scratch build their own version of the JART, and I want to personally thank him for being such a good guy to work with. LEG is a top-shelf company and I highly recommend them for high-quality EPP sailplane kits.
This change is the beginning of some cool things cooking in JARTWORLD, but there won't be any more big announcements until the end of the year. In the meantime, keep enjoying your JART projects and send us some pics when you get a chance!

JART in RCME

Did everyone see this? If you subscribe to RCME you're familiar with our friend Andy Ellison's On The Edge column. This month, his new JART (painted by Julian Beckett based on Andy's anti-perspirant) was featured rather prominently. Our little baby is world-famous! Andy also sent me a signed poster of that amazing top picture and once it's framed it will hang proudly in the shop. Click here or on the picture to download a PDF file of the entire article.

JART Copyright

This may or may not be of interest to you. But for me it's great, because I've been waiting for the JART's official U.S. Copyright Registration for months. Now we know: effective as of September, 2004, the JART holds copyright in the United States as both "technical drawing" and "3-D sculpture." Cool, eh?
